Sarama Resources Ltd is a West African focused gold explorer with substantial landholdings in Burkina Faso, Liberia and Mali.

In November 2014, Sarama entered into an agreement with Acacia Mining (formerly African Barrick Gold) to fund US$14m of exploration to earn a 70% interest in the Company’s flagship South Houndé Project which is situated in the prolific Houndé greenstone belt in south-west Burkina Faso.

Outside the South Houndé Project, Sarama will continue to be an active explorer in Burkina Faso, focussing on the Karankasso Project and several exploration properties which are located in areas that are known to host gold mineralisation.
